Waymind ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by Anvilon LLC, respects your privacy. unique nature of our application is that it is designed to be Local-First. This Privacy Policy outlines how your data is handled when you use our Waymind iOS application.

2. Data Collection & Storage

Crucially, we do not store your personal data on our servers.

All location data, routes, and imported addresses are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure Core Data framework. We do not have access to your saved locations, search history, or imported files.

2.1 Location Data

We access your device's location services only to:

Show your current position on the map.
Calculate distances to your saved waypoints.
Sort locations by proximity.

This real-time location data is processed on-device and is not transmitted to Anvilon LLC.

3. Third-Party Services

To provide navigation features, Waymind interacts with third-party applications installed on your device. When you choose to navigate to a location, coordinates are passed directly to:

Apple Maps
Google Maps
Waze

Once you switch to these applications, their respective privacy policies and terms of service apply. Waymind does not track your activity within these third-party apps.

4. Data Import & Export

Import: Files (CSV, Excel) you import are processed locally. No file content is uploaded to any cloud server during this process.

Export: When you export data (e.g., GPX files for Garmin), the file is generated locally on your device for you to share or save as you see fit.

5. Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally:

Access & Control: You have full ownership of your data.
Deletion: You can delete any location or list instantly within the app. Uninstalling the app effectively wipes all associated data from your device (unless you have backed it up via iCloud Device Backups).

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
